Baseus Recalls Two Models of Power Banks

Your safety is our top priority. In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission ("CPSC"), Shenzhen Baseus Technology Co., Ltd ("Baseus") is voluntarily recalling the following two models of power banks:

  • Baseus Magnetic Mini Wireless Fast Charge Power Bank 2022, 6000mAh 20W – Model PPCXM06
  • Baseus Magnetic Wireless Charging Power Bank 6000mAh 20W – Model PPCXW06

The lithium-ion battery in the power banks can overheat, posing a fire hazard. If you have a PPCXM06 or PPCXW06 model, stop using it right away. Model PPCXM06A is not part of the recall, and no refunds will be issued for that model.

No other models of Baseus power banks are affected.

How to find your model number and serial number

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

If you have a PPCXM06 or PPCXW06 model power bank, please stop using it immediately. Please disconnect the power bank from any chargers or devices.

You should immediately power off and safely store the product, and contact Baseus to receive a full refund.

You should dispose of the product in accordance with the local regulations for disposing of lithium batteries. Do not throw the product in the rubbish, home recycling, or public recycling boxes.

OBTAINING A REFUND

We are offering a refund to affected users. You may have already received email correspondence from us, outlining the steps to obtaining a refund from us. If you have not received an email, please contact Baseus via email care@baseus.com to commence your refund.

Please make sure you have the following:

  1. proof of purchase (such as an order invoice)
  2. a photo of your device showing either PPCXM06 or PPCXW06 model numbers (displayed on magnetic side, see example images above)
  3. the serial number "SN", which is printed on the narrow side of the device.
